Four Colume Pressing Machine Working Theory
  1. The hydraulic drive system of the four-column hydraulic press consists of a power mechanism, a control mechanism, an actuator, an auxiliary mechanism and a working medium. The power mechanism usually uses an oil pump as the power mechanism, and is generally a product type oil pump. In order to meet the requirements of the speed of the actuator, an oil pump or multiple oil pumps are used. Gear pump for low pressure (oil pressure less than 2.5MP); vane pump for medium pressure (oil pressure less than 6.3MP); plunger pump for high pressure (oil pressure less than 32.0MP). Pressure processing and forming of various plastic materials, such as extrusion, bending, stretching of stainless steel sheet steel and cold forming of metal parts, and also for pressing of powder products, grinding wheels, bakelite, and resin thermosetting products.

 

  1. The evolution of the working medium The hydraulic machine initially uses water as the working medium, and later uses an emulsion of a small amount of emulsified oil added to the water to increase lubricity and reduce rust. In the late 19th century, a hydraulic press with mineral oil as the working medium appeared. The oil has good lubricity, corrosion resistance and moderate viscosity, which is beneficial to improve the performance of the hydraulic press. In the second half of the 20th century, a new type of water-based emulsion appeared, and its emulsified form was “water-in-oil” rather than the original “oil-in-water”. The outer phase of the "water-in-oil" emulsion is oil. Its lubricity and corrosion resistance are close to that of oil, and its oil content is small and it is not easy to burn. However, water-based emulsions are more expensive and limit its promotion.

 

 

Work Flow of the Machine:
  1. Before the experiment, check whether the required scale is reached in the fuel tank, then turn on the machine to check whether the components are working properly and whether the column (frame plate) is lubricated. When vulcanizing, first preheat the plate, check for any impurities between the plate layers, and whether other parts are normal. Force gauges and thermometers should be sensitive and effective. Strictly control steam pressure, oil pressure and vulcanization temperature according to safety and process conditions.
  2. Wear protective equipment when handling the vulcanizer, and do not use wet gloves.
  3. Pay attention to the hot plate temperature when preheating the vulcanizer. If it does not meet the requirements, it must be adjusted under the guidance of the instructor. It is strictly forbidden to arbitrarily move.
  4. Prevent the burns or crushing accidents when placing the mold between the hot plates. Do not put the mold into the mold when the hot plate rises.
  5. After the mold is loaded, the middle of the plate should be placed, and the person should stand in the center of the console. When the required pressure is reached after closing the mold, the motor is turned off. If the requirements are not met, please adjust it by the instructor.
  6. Take the mold to use iron hooks to prevent crushing hands. When the mold is opened, the mold sticks to the product, and the mold is knocked on the mold to prevent the mold from falling or scratching the foot.
  7. If the vulcanizer machine fails, the power must be cut off immediately and reported to the teacher. It is strictly forbidden to dismantle the parts. The mold is crushed and it is strictly forbidden to handle it.
  8. After the experiment is finished, cut off the power supply, clean it, and fill in the usage record after the instructor checks it.
