In terms of quantity, it is far behind the rubber flat vulcanizing machine (hot press forming machine) and much more than the rubber press forming machine (injection molding machine), occupying a total of 1/4 or more.
Although the cost of the rubber injection machine itself and its mold is higher than that of the rubber flat vulcanizing machine, since the injection machine is particularly advantageous for mass production, the production efficiency and product quality are greatly improved, and the material loss and heat energy consumption are correspondingly reduced, and thus Eventually, the total cost is reduced, which is favored and widely adopted by large rubber plants. In recent years, due to the emergence of flexible rubber injection machines suitable for small and medium-sized production, many specialized small and medium rubber factories have also begun to choose.

Its function is to uniformly heat and plasticize the rubber compound, and inject the plasticized rubber into the cavity through the nozzle. After the injection is completed, the pressure is maintained, so that the rubber in the cavity is kept under the set pressure for a certain period of time, so as to prevent the material from being loosened and the surface of the product is uneven. The pressure for holding pressure is generally 80-120 MPa, and the highest is 60%-80% of the actual injection pressure. According to experience, when the holding pressure is about 80% of the actual injection pressure, the quality of the obtained product is relatively high. Therefore, the requirements for the injection device are: strong plasticizing ability, sufficient injection pressure, injection speed, and accurate metering of the feed.
In recent years, with the rapid development of modern high technology, higher requirements have been placed on the quality of rubber products. However, the demand for large-scale rubber products has also increased greatly. The screw reciprocating rubber injection machine has exposed the shortcomings of the capacity and pressure of the injection products, and the screw plunger injection molding machine has gained new development and application. The new plunger type injection device with pre-plastic device installs the hydraulically driven plasticizing screw in the injection piston and adopts a "first in, first out" (FIFO) injection method. The structure is shown in Figure 1. The compound is still plasticized using a screw-barrel, which typically places the injection cylinder symmetrically on either side of the screw. When the injection is performed, the axial position of the screw and the barrel are unchanged, and the check valve at the head of the plunger closes the screw groove, and the screw injects the rubber into the cavity along with the injection plunger.
