What Is A Vacuum Compression Molding Machine:
In rubber engineering, for rubber products with high performance requirements, such as sealing rubber parts (oil seals, O-rings, etc.) and other miscellaneous rubber parts, or rubber products with more complex shapes and structures, in order to ensure their forming quality (that is, completely eliminate The appearance of the product has defects such as lack of glue, gas stagnation, bubbles, weld marks, etc.), which facilitates the filling of the rubber and improves its density. Nowadays, more and more rubber vulcanizers with vacuum function are used.
The vacuum vulcanizing machine adds a vacuum system to the ordinary flat vulcanizer. The hardware part of the system includes a vacuum pump, a vacuum hood, and a dedicated gas pipeline for vacuuming, etc.; the software part is in the compression vulcanization program. After the mold is closed, a vacuuming program is added (control the vacuuming time to ensure the vacuum degree in the vacuum cover). Before the mold is opened, there is a program to restore the normal air pressure in the vacuum cover (that is, the pressure relief device starts).
The use of vacuum vulcanizing machine for production also has corresponding technical requirements for the used forming mold. The design requirements of the rubber forming mold used for the vacuum vulcanizing machine are as follows:

  1. The external dimensions of the mold must meet the requirements of the vacuum cover cavity. When the mold is closed, a certain installation gap must be maintained between the mold and the vacuum cover, that is, the length, width, and height of the mold must be appropriate.
  2. After the mold is opened, the parting structure size of each layer of the mold should meet the requirements of the adjustment size range of each ejector mechanism of the vulcanizer.
  3. When the mold is closed, the exhaust system of the mold itself and the mold structure must be able to effectively communicate with the vacuum system to ensure that the gas in the cavity is extracted.

 
What Is A Mold Vacuum Compression Molding Machine:
For those without vacuum vulcanizing equipment, if the product parts have high requirements and need to be vacuumed to ensure their quality requirements, vacuum-type rubber forming molds can be designed and manufactured. To adopt this production process, a vacuum pump must first be equipped and installed at a suitable position on the rear side of the vulcanizer, an operation switch is installed on the front of the vulcanizer, and the vacuum pump is connected to the vacuum rubber forming mold with a gas pipeline.
The design principles of the vacuum rubber mold are as follows:

  1. Between the relevant templates that constitute the mold cavity, use a special or a general-purpose sealing ring made through a standardized design, so that the mold cavity part and the exhaust system part form an effective sealed chamber.
  2. Special or general sealing rings must be made of materials that can withstand high temperatures, such as silicone rubber, fluorine rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene.
  3. The sealing mechanism of the mold should have two actions, that is, when the mold is closed, a reasonable distance should be maintained between the relevant parting surfaces. At this time, the vacuum is started, and then the mold is locked, pressurized and vulcanized.
  4. The sealed chamber of the mold should be effectively communicated with the vacuum pump.
  5. During use, the sealing ring should be checked regularly to ensure its sealing performance.
