Vacuum Compression Molding Machine Brief Introduction:
In rubber engineering, rubber products with high performance requirements, such as sealed rubber parts (oil seals, 0-rings, etc.) and other rubber miscellaneous pieces, or rubber products with complex body structures, in order to ensure their forming quality (ie, completely eliminated) The appearance of defects such as lack of glue, gas, bubbles, weld lines, etc., facilitates the filling of the rubber and increases the density thereof, and now more and more rubber vulcanizers having a vacuum function are used.
The vacuum vulcanizer is a vacuum pumping system added to the ordinary flat vulcanizing machine. The hardware part of the system includes a vacuum pump, a vacuum cover and a special vacuum line for vacuuming; the software part is in the molding vulcanization process. After the mold is closed, a vacuuming program is added (the vacuuming time is controlled to ensure the vacuum degree in the vacuum hood). Before the mold is opened, there is a program for restoring the normal air pressure in the vacuum hood (ie, the pressure relief device is started).
Production using an vacuum vulcanizer, there are corresponding technical requirements for the forming mold used. The rubber forming mold for the vacuum vulcanizing machine has the following design requirements:

  1. The outer dimensions of the mold should meet the requirements of the vacuum chamber. When the mold is closed, a certain installation clearance must be maintained between the mold and the vacuum cover, that is, the length, width and height of the mold should be suitable.
  2. After the mold is opened, the size of the parting structure of each layer of the mold shall meet the requirements of the adjustment range of each ejector mechanism of the vulcanizer.
  3. When the mold is closed, the exhaust system and mold structure of the mold itself can be effectively communicated with the vacuum system to ensure that the gas in the cavity is extracted.

For the conditions of equipment without vacuum vulcanizer, if the product parts are required to be high and the quality requirements are required under vacuum, the vacuum forming rubber forming mold can be designed and manufactured. To adopt this process, a vacuum pump must first be installed and installed at a suitable part on the rear side of the vulcanizer. An operation switch is installed on the front side of the vulcanizer, and the vacuum pump is connected to the vacuum rubber molding die by a gas line.
The design principles of vacuum rubber molds are as follows:

  1. Between the relevant templates constituting the mold cavity, a special sealing ring made by a special or standardized design is used to form an effective sealing chamber between the mold cavity portion and the exhaust system portion.
  2. Special or general purpose seals must be made of materials that can withstand high temperatures, such as silicone rubber, fluororubber or Teflon.
  3. The sealing mechanism of the mold should have two actions. When the mold is closed, a reasonable distance should be maintained between the relevant parting surfaces. At this time, the vacuum is started, and then the mold clamping, pressurization and vulcanization are started.
  4. The sealed chamber portion of the mold should be in effective communication with the vacuum pump.
  5. When using, the sealing ring should be inspected regularly to ensure its sealing performance.
